LOSS PREVENTION FIELD OPERATIONS
"Let our Loss Prevention Field Group augment your existing staff by assisting with operational store audits and investigative needs."
Operational Auditing
Insuring that your stores are compliant with your policies is the first step in shrink control. How your organization determines compliance is of utmost importance. Using APA auditors as a resource to conduct operational, cash control and loss prevention assessments gives you an impartial snapshot of your organization. Our operational audit system is web based, giving your organization access whenever it is needed. With drilldown capability, you can unroot the problem where it exists quickly and efficiently. Parameters can be set so varying levels of management have access to only the information deemed appropriate for them.
Investigative Deployment
APA loss prevention consultants are Wicklander-Zulawski trained and have conducted scores of employee interviews for national retailers. APA will work closely with your Human Resources Department and, if necessary, liaison with law enforcement. We understand the importance of quality, ethical investigations and interview technique.

Case Study
Problem: A specialty store retailer reviews their exception reporting data and determines that within the past month they have 4 stores located in various outlet malls that have either part time associates or a full time key holder who appears to be voiding cash sales and/or processing fraudulent refunds. The client requests that APA further investigate these losses as well as interview the suspected employees.
Process: APA reviews the client data, coordinates scheduling with either the store or district managers and dispatches an LP Consultant to the affected locations. Once on site, the APA field operator reviews additional information and conducts preliminary associate and management interviews. The employee suspected of wrongdoing in each scenario is interviewed. In each situation, an admission is obtained, a written statement is taken and the APA consultant consults with the client HR department to provide the results of the investigation.
Result: At each store, the employee agrees to pay restitution to their employer. The employees are terminated for cause. |
